Each year, as the holiday season arrives, Cloudcroft earns its reputation as the Christmas Capital of New Mexico with the annual Christmas Market. Held at the Cloudcroft High School Gym, this beloved two-day event brings together 37 to 60 regional and local artisans showcasing handcrafted jewelry, mountain art, holiday decor, and one-of-a-kind gifts. With approximately 2,500 visitors, the market offers the perfect opportunity to find unique, locally made presents while soaking in the festive mountain atmosphere. Complement your market visit with a stroll down Burro Avenue to explore the charming shops and galleries of downtown Cloudcroft.

The market is held at Cloudcroft High School Gym, 10 Swallow Place, Cloudcroft, NM 88317. From Alamogordo, take US-82 east for approximately 16 miles into the mountains.
